A Legend is Born in Blood and Betrayal
Rossa awakens broken on a remote Greek island, his past wiped clean by the sea. His only purpose is to find his brother Aruj. Nursed back to strength by a solitary shipwright and his daughter, he learns the violent rhythms of the Aegean. Blades. Sails. The quiet power of belonging. But the world beyond the island has other plans. Betrayal shatters his fragile new life and hurls him into the lawless waters of Mediterranean piracy to hunt for the brother he will not abandon.
Aruj’s fate is darker still. Enslaved on a Venetian warship, he draws the attention of a cold and calculating master who recognizes the killer in him. What rises from the chains is no longer a man, but a weapon. Cold. Precise. Remade into something the Mediterranean will soon fear.
When their paths cross again, the sea catches fire. Empires edge toward war, corsairs rule the waves, and the name Barbarossa begins its bloody ascent from the ruins of everything they once were.

The Legend of Barbarossa
The Legend of Barbarossa is a cinematic historical adventure series inspired by the real-life brothers Aruj and Khizr, who rose from the shores of the Aegean to become two of the most feared and powerful figures in the Mediterranean.
Set in the early 1500s, a time when Europe was emerging from the Dark Ages and the discovery of the New World was reshaping global power, the story unfolds in a world caught between empires. The brothers are born into this turbulent borderland between the rising Ottoman Empire and the Christian powers of Venice, Spain, and the Knights of St. John.
While not a strict retelling of their lives, The Legend of Barbarossa is a grounded, cinematic saga that follows their journey from the first devastating betrayal through years of survival, ambition, and transformation, until one commands the fleet of the dominant naval power of the old world.
Book One, Barbarossa’s Cave, launches the saga on August 31.
